This Privacy Policy describes how Anested Labs Private Limited(“Anested”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores and shares information about you when you visit our website, register for or take the Anested Campus Examination (“ACE” or the “Exam”), or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, mobile number, password (stored as a salted hash), date of birth and gender.
• Academic information: class / course, school or college name, stream, board, and exam preferences.
• Identity information: photograph, ID proof details (where required for examination integrity).
• Payment information: we do notstore your full card or bank details. Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner (e.g. Razorpay) and we receive only transaction metadata such as order ID, payment ID, amount, status and the masked instrument used.
• Examination data: answers, scores, attempt timestamps, device fingerprint, and proctoring signals (where applicable).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device and operating system, log files and cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and registration.
• To deliver, evaluate and award the Exam and any results / scholarships.
• To process payments and issue refunds where applicable.
• To send transactional communications (admit cards, results, notices).
• To prevent fraud, malpractice, abuse and security incidents.
• To comply with applicable laws and respond to legal requests.
• To improve the quality of our Services.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run the Services (cloud hosting, email/SMS delivery, payment gateway, analytics, proctoring), bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition or restructuring of Anested Labs Private Limited.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Examination records and results may be retained for archival and verification purposes.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how you use the Services. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Services may not function properly.

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest where appropriate, password hashing and access controls. No method of transmission or storage, however, is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may, subject to verification and applicable law:

• Access, correct or update your personal information from your dashboard.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential processing.

8. Children

ACE is open to students from Class 11 onwards. If a candidate is below 18 years of age, registration must be completed with the consent and oversight of a parent or legal guardian.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
